When I was in Canada last summer, we went to a seafood restaurant. I ordered shrimp just to try something new. But the shrimp looked so strange that I had to take a picture. Cody K.

Taking pictures of food isn't really my thing I just think, wow this is just food it looks cool but still just food. But the food I really think I should have took a picture of is a scorpion I ate when I was in Viet Nam.

I love taking pictures of food and the most interesting/photogenic thing I had to take a picture of was the first time I had an acaĆ bowl. It was really pretty and almost too nice to actually eat. The bright colors made it worth taking a picture of and how perfect it was. Sadie S

I tend to not take pictures of my food that often because my mom does that enough. She is a chef and always has some new food to try... then always posts it later. Savannah R-B

Food and I have a very personal, intimate relationship, figuratively speaking. Food is what gets me up in the morning if you know what I mean, figuratively speaking. I have taken really amazing pics of food before, Oh my god creamy chicken alfredo with parsley flakes to make it look more asteticly pleasing. Ben.O

Food is an important part of everyones lives, and just now I'm realizing just how important it is. Because I've never been that obsessed with food, I have only taken one picture of some food. It was an open salmon sandwich with small fish eggs as a garnish. I guess the chief decorated it so well I felt it needed to be photographed.

Anytime we go to a restaurant for breakfast I have to take a picture of the dessert. Restaurants do their best to make their meals look pleasing to the eye, and a lot of the time I appreciate it by snapping a quick pic.

I don't take many pictures of food, but when I do it's normal some fancy looking dessert or something that indicates I'm somewhere cool and I have the food to prove it. For example, in Disneyland, I got a mickey mouse shaped s'mores treat and took a picture of it in front of the castle.

I mostly take pictures of Mexican food. I love taking pics of that because the majority of the time its so colorful! The vibrance of the red Pico de gallo or the faded green guacamole!! its just so pretty and it always looks so appetizing.

About almost two years ago, I went to Mexico, specifically Nayarit. We went to a seafood restaurant in Puerto Vallarta and I had to take photos of the food because it was plated nicely and liked the colors. I had ordered aguachile.

In Seattle last year my mom and I went to a few really cool restaurants and one of them was a thai place right next to our air bnb. They served my moms food inside a pineapple that was cut in half. We also went to another restaurant in Seattle and they decorated my plate with the sauce and it looked like the sun. I felt like I needed to take those pictures. Jaelyn A

I don't take many pictures of food/drinks, but when I do it's usually a photogenic beverage such as a coca cola in a pretty glass bottle. I try to make sure the background's just right, for example a photogenic soda with the lake in the background during the summer.

There are many food pictures i've taken. One of which was of my Papa at a seafood restaurant. We were visiting seaside when it was around 4 or 5 and we found a nice little restaurant .My Grammie said to me that Papa was in the perfect light and that she wanted me to take a picture of him so I did and we had just been served so he had a plate of food in front of him.-Avery B
